Printerstatusisclassiedaccordingtothefollowingvemodes.
StandbyTheprinterisreadytoreceivejobssentfromthe
computer.Jobssentfromthecomputerareprinted
immediately.
PrintingPausedPrintingispausedontheprinter.Anyjobssentfrom
thecomputerareheldwithoutbeingprinted.
PrintingPrintingisinprogressontheprinter.Jobssentfrom
thecomputerareprintedafterthecurrentjob.The
timeleftuntilprintingisnishedisindicatedinthe
upper-rightcornerofthescreen.(Valuesexceeding
10hoursarenotshown.)
SleepTheprinterisinpower-savingmode.Theprinter
automaticallyentersSleepmodetoconservepower
whenidleforaspecicperiod(bydefault,ve
minutes),thatis,ifnoprintjobsarereceivedor
buttonsarepressedwhileallcoversareclosed.

AfterenteringSleepmodefromStandbymode,
theprinterautomaticallyrecoversifprintjobsare
received,andthejobsareprinted.
ErrorTheprinterrequiresyourattention.Anyjobssent
fromthecomputercannotbeprocessed.Thetab
relatedtotheerrorisdisplayed.
