Migrating Your COMMAND/POST Database Information
To migrate your COMMAND/POST database information:
1. At the prompt displayed in Step 3 on page 28, type the system administration password.
Note: The Sybase system administration password is listed on the Upgrade Planning Form
on page 7. If you do not know the password, exit this procedure now and obtain the
password.
The script connects to the master database and the agc databases. COMMAND/POST is
temporarily stopped while the script creates Sybase definition types, stored procedures,
and tables. The script adds the NetCmmnd users and restarts COMMAND/POST and the
Desktop. The filters are generated and COMMAND/POST is stopped again and restarted.
Please enter sybase ‘sa’ password ->
Do not interact with the COMMAND/POST Desktop during the upgrade processing.
Warning
If the database is large, this process can take some time, depending on the speed of the
machine and the size of the database.
