Troubleshooting

Problem:

The mouse is not detected at boot up.

Solution:

•Checkthecablesandmakesurethattheyareinsertedproperly.

Problem:

The computer boots up fine, but the mouse does not work.

Solution:

•Makesureitispluggedinproperly.

•Makesurethemouseworkswhendirectlypluggedintothecomputer.Rebooting

may be necessary when trying this.

•Tryadifferentmouse.

GENERAL

Problem:

My computer does not boot when connected to the KVM Switch and works

fine when I connect the keyboard, video, and mouse directly to it.

Solution:

•Makesurethatthekeyboardandmousecablesareconnectedtightlybetween

the KVM Switch and the computer.

•Checkthatthekeyboardandmousecablesarenotcrossed.

Problem:

I am connecting my computer to the SOHO KVM Switch via USB and my

keyboard and mouse do not work.

Solution:

•PriortoconnectingtheSOHOKVMSwitch,makesurethattheHIDUSBdriveris

installed on each computer. (To install the HID USB driver, connect a USB mouse

and USB keyboard to the computer. Windows should automatically install

the drivers.)
