Onboard headers and connectors are NOT jumpers. Do NOT place
jumper caps over these headers and connectors. Placing jumper caps
over the headers and connectors will cause permanent damage of the
motherboard!

Serial ATA Connectors These four Serial ATA (SATA)
(SATA1: see p.10 No. 18) connectors support SATA data
(SATA2: see p.10 No. 17) cables for internal storage
(SATA3: see p.10 No. 15) devices. The current SATA
(SATA4: see p.10 No. 16) interface allows up to 1.5 Gb/s
data transfer rate.
Serial ATA II Connector This Serial ATA II (SATA II)
(SATA II_1: see p.10 No. 11) connector supports SATA
data cables for internal storage
devices. The current SATA II
interface allows up to 3.0 Gb/s
data transfer rate.
Serial ATA (SATA) Either end of the SATA data cable
Data Cable can be connected to the SATA /
SATAII hard disk or the SATA /
SATAII connector on the
motherboard.
