1 cup rice
cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
¼ teaspoon salt
1 5-ounce can chicken breast, chunks with liquid
8 small corn tortillas
½ 4-ounce can diced green chilies with liquid
Optional Ingredients:
- Sour Cream
- Cheese
- Salsa
Place all ingredients into the inner pot and stir until evenly distributed.
Place the inner pot into the rice cooker, close the lid and press the
COOK SWITCH. Allow rice to cook until the rice cooker switches to
“Keep-Warm.” Place the tortillas into the steam tray. Open the lid, using
caution to avoid escaping steam, and place the tortilla-filled steam tray
into the rice cooker. Allow tortillas to steam for roughly 5 minutes, or until
soft. Once tortillas are warm, spoon the Green Chile and Chicken Rice
equally into the tortillas. Add sour cream, cheese and salsa, as desired.
Fold tortillas to form tacos and enjoy! Serves 4.

Arroz con pollo y chile verde
1 taza arroz de grano mediano, como el Calrose
tazas consomé de pollo bajo en sodio
1 cucharada cebolla deshidratada picada
½ cucharadita sal kosher
1 lata (5 oz.)trozos de pechuga de pollo con líquido
½ lata (4 oz.)chiles verdes en cubos con sal líquida al
gusto
Colocar todos los ingredientes en la olla interior y remover. Colocar la
olla interior en la arrocera, cubrir y presione el INTERRUPTOR DE COCER y
el indicador se iluminará. Dejar cocinar hasta que la arrocera cambie al
modalidad “Manténgase Caliente.” Agregar sal al gusto. Remover y servir
inmediatamente como platillo principal. Rinde 4 porciones.
