Create Custom Bridge Packet Filter Example (3500)

After you enter the custom filter editor, the system displays the editor

commands, as shown here.

You now enter packet filter language statements that define the packet

filter algorithm. See the

Implementation Guide

for your system for

information about developing the packet filters.

Select menu option (bridge/packetFilter): create custom

Editor Commands

Buffer: list = Ctrl-l

Line: next = Ctrl-n, previous = Ctrl-p

Cursor: start = Ctrl-a, end = Ctrl-e, left = Ctrl-b, right = Ctrl-f

Insert: line = Enter

Delete: previous = Ctrl-h (BSP), current = Ctrl-d (DEL), line = Ctrl-k

Mode: insert/overstrike toggle = Ctrl-o

Save: Ctrl-w

Exit: Esc
