Operation
The comfortable, handheld EasyRead™ Illuminated Magnifi er will help
you see better by magnifying subject matter by 2.5X with bright, Natural
Spectrum
®
Daylight. Two LED bulbs evenly illuminate reading surfaces
without glare and the 5X bifocal inset provides additional magnifi cation for
seeing the fi nest of details.

You have the option of using the EasyRead Magnifi er with or without
illumination. Simply press the button on the upper left side of the handle
once, and the two LED bulbs will illuminate. Press the button a second time
to turn them off.
When replacing batteries, please ensure that you only use 2 AAA
batteries.
Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the handle. Slide the
battery compartment open, tilt the compartment cover upward and remove
any dead batteries. Please dispose of batteries in a proper manner to help
minimize environmental impact.
Insert 2 AAA batteries into the
compartment with the “+” end
pointing toward the bottom of the
handle. Make sure the “+” and “-”
symbols are facing in the correct
direction, otherwise the LED’s will
not operate.
Once the batteries are inserted,
lower the compartment cover and
slide upward towards the lens until
the cover clicks into place.
