1. The scale base is not dishwasher safe. Immersingthe scale inwater
maytrap liquid between the lensand the bodythat cannot be ef-
fectively dried-out.
2. An occasional wiping with asoft cloth and mild soapwill keepyour
scale cleanand attractive. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Your
scale does notrequire oiling or lubrication ofany kind.
3. The bowlis top-shelfdishwasher safe.
4. Do not put either the base unitor the bowl in amicrowave.
5. Protect the scale from flames, heat, direct sunlight and high hu-
midity.
6. Do not tamper with the scale's internal components. Doingso may
cause damage. The scalecontainsno user-serviceable parts.
