OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
How to Fill the Spa
1 . Remove the lid. Set all documents aside.
2 . Place the unit on a hard, fl at ,h e at-resistant surface.
3 . Remove all plastic packaging material from the paraffin wax then place 6lbs. of
p a r a ffin wax in Paraffin Spa chamber. Do not use any other wax except Remington
wax with this product.
4. Make sure unit is “off”. Plug unit into an electrical outlet
of proper voltage.When the unit is plugged in,the word
“off” will show on the display.
5. This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other).As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fully f i t
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit in the
o u t l e t , contact a qualified electrician to install a polarized
outlet.Never try to defeat this safety feature.
6 . Replace the lid to retain heat .
How to Use the Spa:
Once you have completed the “How to Fill the Spa”instructions,
you can either turn the unit on by pressing the on/off button to commence
melting immediately. Or, you can set the timer to commence melting at a later
point in the day.
How to Commence Melting Immediately:
1. Turn the unit on by pressing the power “On/Off” button. When the unit is turned
on,the temperature will default to medium, and the word “ M E D ” will show on the
d i s p l ay.
2. You can switch to the “HIGH” temperature setting by pressing the “TEMP” button
once. You can switch to the “LOW” temperature setting by pressing the “TEMP”
button twice. Or, you can switch back to the “MED” (default) temperature setting
by pressing the “TEMP” button a third time.
3. It is recommended that the wax be melted on “HIGH” temperature to
achieve the fastest melt time (approximately 3 hrs.)
4. When the wax is visibly melted (approximately 3 hrs.on “HIGH temperature), the
Deluxe Paraffin Spa is ready to use (see “How to dip feet” instructions). Once wax is melted,
do not move unit as spillage may occur!
5. Everyone’s sensitivity is different. So,if the temperature feels too hot,simply press the “TEMP
button to reach the desired temperature (LOW-MED-HIGH). It will take approximately one hour
(from HIGH temperature) for the Paraffin Spa to reach the MED temperature, and two hours
(from HIGH temperature) for the Paraffin Spa to reach the LOW temperature.
How to Commence Melting Later in the Day:
1. To commence melting later in the day, you will need to set your timer.
2. The Timer on your Deluxe Paraffin Spa works like a coffee machine timer. Decide the time
that you want to use the Paraffin Spa and then set the hours and minutes to count down to
that selected time. For example,if you want to use the Paraffin Spa at 8:00 p.m.and the time
is now 12:00 p.m.,you will need to set your timer to count down from 8 hours.
How to Set the Timer:
1. Turn the unit on by pressing the power “On/Off” button.When the unit is turned on,the tem-
perature will default to medium,and the word “MED” will show on the display.
2. Press the “TEMP”button once to select the “HIGH”temperature setting.This will ensure that
the wax is completely melted when the timer reaches 00:00. It is recommended that the
wax be melted on “HIGH” temperature to achieve the fastest melt time.
3. Press the “AUTO” key. The display will show 4:00 and flash.
4. Press the “HOUR” key to select the desired number of hours from now that you want to use
the Deluxe Paraffin Spa. You can fast forward in 8 digits per second by pressing and holding
down the “HOUR” key.
5. Press the “MINUTE” key to select the desired minutes. You can fast forward in 8 digits per
second by pressing and holding down the “MINUTE” key.
6. The minimum time setting is 4 hours and the maximum time setting is 23 hours and 59
minutes.
7. When the desired time is set,press the “AUTO” key and the countdown to 00:00 (noted on the
display) will commence.
8. When the timer reaches 00:00 on the display, your Deluxe Paraffin Spa is ready to use.
9. Your Deluxe Paraffin Spa comes with a plastic foot rest.Place the foot rest in the unit after
