Safety advice and warnings:
- Please read this instruction leaflet carefully
before using the appliance and keep the leaflet
for future reference.
- Check the mains voltage is the same as the
products.
- Unpack it completely and check it is in perfect
condition and functioning well, as any factory
defect or damage caused during transport is
covered by the Mellerware guarantee.
WARNING
- Do not use this product near bathtubs,
washbasins or other receptacles that contain
water.
- Do not use the product if your hands or feet
are wet or when barefoot.
- Switch the hairdryer off if you need to set it
down, even if just for a moment.
- If using the hairdryer in a bathroom, unplug
it after use, as the closeness to water may be
dangerous even when the hairdryer is switched
off.
- As an additional safety measure, we advise
you to ensure that the electricity circuit that
supplies the bathroom has a residual current
device (RCD) with differential operating current
that does not exceed 30mA. Please ask your
electrical installer for advise on this matter.
- To prevent the product from overheating,
ensure that the air inlet holes are not blocked.
If this happens, the automatic safety device will
switch the resistance off.
- If the resistance repeatedly stops working,
unplug it from the mains and wait about 10
to 15 minutes until the hairdryer cools down
before plugging it in again.
- Ensure that the air inlet holes are not blocked
before using the hairdryer.
- Never wind the cable around the hairdryer
when it is still hot.
- Always straighten the cable if it has become
twisted and gently roll it up around the
hairdryer.
- Do not use this device in closed spaces with
limited ventilation.
Usage instructions:
- Set the power and temperature selectors to the
desired position, always starting from the OFF
position.
- Slide the power selector from the lower
position to the upper position to increase
drying speed.
- Slide the temperature selector from the lower
position to the upper position to increase the
temperature of the air flow.
Professional diffuser:
- Attach the diffuser to give the hairstyle volume.
- For best results, the hairdryer should be used
at low power and slow speed settings.
Air concentrator:
- Attach the concentrator to direct the air flow to
the desired area (ends, curls, etc.)
- This is especially useful for setting and shaping
the hairstyle.
Removable filter:
- Do not use the product without the removable
filter.
- Easy to clean filter.
Ionizer:
- Ions flow constantly from the drier as long as it
is working, whatever position is selected.
Cleaning:
- unplug the product from the mains and let it
cool down before cleaning it.
- Clean the filter by shaking it.
Breakdowns and repairs:
- In the event of of any anomaly in the
connection to the mains, do not try to replace
the cord yourself as it may be dangerous.
Take the appliance to an Authorised Technical
Department. The same applies to any other
breakdown.
