INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new
appliance, please read this user
guide carefully before using it for the
rst time. We also recommend that
you keep the instructions for future
reference, so that you can remind
yourself of the functions of your
appliance.
SAFETY MEASURES
Normal use of the appliance
Incorrect use of this appliance may
cause personal injury and damage
to the appliance.
Use for its intended purpose
only. The manufacturer is not
responsible for any injury or
damage resulting from incorrect
use or handling (see also
Guarantee Terms).
For domestic use only. Not for
outdoor or commercial use.
For connection to 230 V, 50 Hz
only. The appliance must be
earthed.
Always turn the appliance off using
the on/off button, and unplug it,
when it is not in use.
Please note that the appliance will
remain hot for a while after you
switch it off. Always allow it to cool
completely before you put it away.
Always keep the appliance at a
safe distance from ammable
objects such as curtains,
tablecloths or the like.
Never leave unattended when in
use, and keep an eye on children.
The plates get very hot. They must
not come into contact with the
skin, as this can cause burns.
Do not cover the appliance, while it
is in use.
Do not expose to direct sunlight
for long periods.
Do not place or store near other
heat sources or in a damp
environment.
Cord, plug and mains socket
Keep cord away from hot objects
and open ame.
Check that it is not possible to
pull or trip over the cord or any
extension cord.
Remove the plug from the socket
before cleaning.
Avoid pulling the cord when
removing the plug from the socket.
Instead, hold the plug.
Do not wind the cord around the
appliance.
Check regularly that neither the
cord nor plug is damaged and do
not use if there is any damage, or
if it has been dropped on the oor,
dropped in water or damaged in
any other way.
If the appliance or plug is
damaged, it must be inspected
and if necessary, repaired by
an authorised repair engineer,
otherwise there is a risk of electric
shock. Never try to repair the
appliance yourself. Unauthorised
repairs or modications will
invalidate the guarantee. Please
contact the store where you
bought the appliance for repairs
under guarantee.

USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Insert the plug (2) in the mains
socket and switch on the power.
The indicator light (3) will be lit.
2. Press the On/Off button (5) to
switch on the appliance.
o The display (4) lights up and
shows “Lo” (low heat).
o The appliance begins to heat
up, and you can monitor the
actual temperature in the
display at any time.
3. Set the desired temperature by
pressing the control buttons (6).
o The numbers in the display
ash, while you set the desired
temperature.
o Available temperature settings
are 120-200 ºC.
