Mains electricity
Insert the connector in the terminal (4) at the
back of the appliance.
Switch appliance on using the on/off button.
Power indicator will come on.
The ceramic hotplates will quickly heat up to
operating temperature. The appliance will emit
three beeps when ready.
Use the appliance to set your hair as desired.
Styling tips
Brush hair thoroughly before setting. Divide your
hair up into small sections, and deal with them
separately piece by piece as described below until
the desired result is achieved. Hair should be clean
and dry before using the appliance.
Start with a lock of hair about 5 cm wide and
close the ceramic plates around the hair near
the scalp. Avoid touching the scalp with the hot
appliance.
Slowly slide the appliance towards the hair ends
in one uent movement. Keep the hair tight to
avoid kinks. For more lift in the hair, smooth only
the outer part of the hair lock.
After use
Switch appliance (and
heating station) off
and remove the plug
from the socket once
you have nished
using it.
Please note: The
appliance has a cut-
out function which will
automatically switch it off after one hour. Always
remember to switch off after use however,
to avoid wasting electricity and because the
hotplates remain hot.
Press the two release buttons either side of the
connector to release the jack from the appliance
or heating station.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely
before putting it away.
CLEANING
Remove the plug from the socket before
cleaning.
Allow to cool down before cleaning.
Never submerge the appliance in water, and no
water must be allowed to get into it.
Clean the appliance by wiping it with a cloth
tightly wrung out in hot water. A little detergent
can be added if the appliance is very dirty.
Do not use scouring pads or any strong solvents
or abrasives as they may damage the external
surfaces of the appliance and the ceramic
plates.
