Adjusting Back Angle - All Models Except XLT Gold and
Top End Force
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 6.9.
1. Ifinstalledactivateparkingbrake.
2. Loosen,butDONOTremovethefourrearsocketscrewsthatsecuretheseatframeto
thehandcycleframe.
NOTE:Therearetwosocketscrewsontherightandleftsideofthehandcycle.
3. Loosen,butDONOTremovethehexboltsandlocknutsthatsecurethetwoseatangle
adjustmentclampstotherearseatsupports.
NOTE:Thereisoneclampontherightandleftsideofthehandcycle.
4. Performoneofthefollowing:
IncreasingBackAngle‐Whileliftinguponthebacksupporttubes,pulltheseat
upwardtothedesiredposition.
DecreasingBackAngle‐Whilepushingdownonthebacksupporttubes,pushthe
seatdowntothedesiredposition.
5. Tightenthefoursocketscrewsthatsecuretheseatframetothehandcycleframe
securely.
6. Tightenthehexboltsandlocknutsthatsecurethetwoseatangleadjustmentclamps
totherearseatsupportssecurely.
