SECTION 6—RIDING POSITION

Adjusting Seat Fore/Aft - All Models Except XLT Gold
and Top End Force
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 6.6.
NOTE:Seatshouldbeadjustedsothatwhenseatedwithfeetinthefootrests,thereisaslightbend
atthekneeandaslightbendattheelbowwhenthehandcrankisfurthestaway.
1. Ifinstalled,activateparkingbrake.
2. Loosen,butDONOTremovethefourrearsocketscrewsthatsecuretherearseat
frametothehandcycleframe.
3. Loosen,butDONOTremovethetwofrontsocketscrewsthatsecurethefrontofthe
seatframetothehandcycleframe.
NOTE:Therearesocketscrewsontherightandleftsideofthehandcycle.
4. Loosen,butDONOTremovethehexboltsandlocknutsthatsecurethetwoseatangle
adjustmentclampstotherearseatsupports.
NOTE:Thereisoneclampontherightandleftsideofthehandcycle.
5. Performoneofthefollowing:
•MovingtheSeatRearward‐Whileliftinguponthebacksupporttubes,pushthe
seatrearwardtothedesiredposition.
•MovingtheSeatForward‐Whilepushingdownonthebacksupporttubes,pull
theseatforwardtothedesiredposition.
6. Tightenthesixsocketscrewsthatsecuretheseatframetothehandcycleframe
securely.
7. Tightenthehexboltsandlocknutsthatsecurethetwoseatangleadjustmentclamps
totherearseatsupportssecurely.
