TDX SR Wheelchair

B. The TDX SR wheelchair with (2) Group 24 batteries has a maximum
length of 44" (1118 mm) and the maximum length requirements of
lifts on public vehicles.
C. Total wheelchair mass for TDX SR wheelchair with (2) Group 24
batteries = 347 lb. (158 kg) Adult.
D. Average lateral dummy displacement for TDX SR wheelchair
with (2) Group 24 batteries = approximately .53" (13.4 mm) Adult.
E. Overall Score for TDX SR wheelchair Adult with (2) Group 24
batteries = 18, Overall Rating = A
F. i. The TDX SR wheelchair tested was sized to accommodate a
168 lb. test dummy (17" x 17" x 22" high and 14" Center-Wheel
Drive tires).
ii. The TDX SR wheelchair was tied down using four tie-down
brackets – 2 brackets located on the front of the base frame and
2 brackets located on the rear of the base frame.
iii. The TDX SR wheelchair was tested with a 168 lb. test dummy.
iv. The TDX SR wheelchair tested used a wheelchair-anchored
pelvic belt and vehicle-anchored shoulder belt.
v. The TDX SR wheelchair tested complies with the performance
requirements of ANSI/RESNA W/C 19 sec. 5.3.
G. For all types of vehicles, the TDX SR wheelchair requires four
SAE J2249-compliant tie-down strap assemblies for effective
securement.
H. The TDX SR wheelchair provides a location for anchoring of an
Invacare-provided pelvic belt. This belt has been tested in
accordance with ANSI/RESNA W/C 19.
I. The wheelchair-anchored pelvic belt is supplied by Invacare.

length of 35.25" (895 mm) and the TDX SP wheelchair with (2) Group
24 batteries has a maximum length of 35.63" (905 mm), meeting the
ADA definition of a common wheelchair and the maximum length
requirements of lifts on public vehicles.
C. Total wheelchair mass for TDX SP wheelchair with (2) 22NF
batteries = 280 lb. (127.3 kg) Adult and 286 lb. (130 kg) Junior
including front riggings, wheel locks, TRO brackets, wheelchair-
anchored pelvic belt and seating. Total wheelchair mass for TDX SP
Wheelchair with (2) Group 24 batteries = 315 lb. (142.9 kg) Adult and
317 lb. (143.8 kg) Junior including front riggings, wheel locks, TRO
brackets, wheelchair-anchored pelvic belt and seating.
D. Average lateral dummy displacement for TDX SP wheelchair with
(2) 22NF batteries = approximately .53" (13.4 mm) Adult and .57"
(14.4 mm) Junior.
Average lateral dummy displacement for TDX SP wheelchair with
(2) Group 24 batteries = approximately .54" (13.7 mm) Adult and .51"
(12.9 mm) Junior.
