Replacing the Battery
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 4.
NOTE:Thescaleispoweredbya9‐voltalkalinebatterythatshouldprovideapproximately1500readingsbefore
needingreplacement.
Whenbatteryreplacementisneeded,LOBATwillappearonthedisplay.Performthefollowing:
1. Slidethebatterydooropeninthedirectionofthearrow.
2. Removeexistingbattery.
3. InstalltheNEWbattery.
4. Reinstallthebatterydoor.

thescale,followtheinstructionsoutlinedbelow.
1. ThepatientandtheslingMUSTberemov edfromthescaletoproperlycalibratetheJas mineScale.Refer
toOperationintheJasminePatientLiftOwner’sManual,InvacareP/N1150704,forfurtherinstructions.
2. Forslingdetachmentinstructions, refertoLiftingthePatientintheJasminePatientLiftOwner’sManual,
Inv acareP/N1150704.
3. Turnthescaledisplaypow eronbypressingtheON/OFFkey.
4. Rotatethe SwivelBaruntilthebackofth escaledisplayisvisible.
5. Insertthetipofapaperclipor similartoolintoth esmallholeonthebackof
thescaledispla yandpress
theCALbutton.
NOTE:OncetheCALbuttonispr essed,“CAL1”willbeseeninthedisplaywindow.
6. PresstheUNITSkey.ThedisplayreadsCAL2.
7. PresstheLOCK/UNLOCKkey.ThedisplayreadsUNLD.
8. PresstheZEROkey.Thedisplayreads LOAD.
9. Hang200poundsofcalibratedweightfromthescaleandpresstheZEROkey.
10. PresstheZEROkey.Thedisplayreads DONE.
