5. Never operate this appliance if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not working

damaged, or dropped into water. Return the
appliance to an authorized Conair service
center for examination and repair.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Never block the air openings of the
appliance or place it on a soft surface, such
as a bed or couch, where the air openings
may be blocked. Keep the air openings free
of lint, hair, and the like.
8. Never use while sleeping.
9. Never drop or insert any object into
any opening.
10. Do not use outdoors or operate where
aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.
11. Use setter on level surface.
12. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
13. Do not use with voltage converter.
14. Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
15. Center of rollers will be hot. Hold rollers
by ends to roll hair.

INSTRUCTIONS
How to Operate your Setter:
1. Place setter on a firm, flat surface. With
the pouch lid closed, plug cord into outlet.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
2. Once plugged in, the rollers will heat up
in minutes. The fastest, most efficient
heat-up is provided when the pouch lid
is closed. Once the rollers are hot, you
can begin styling your hair (please refer
to How To Curl and Style Your Hair for
further instruction).
3. Never leave your setter plugged in and
unattended. Always unplug the setter
when not in use. Allow the setter to cool
down after use. Store unit in safe place.
4. When using the setter, your hair should
be clean and dry (or slightly damp),
never wet.

How To Curl and Style Your Hair
MEDIUM ROLLERS
Use on short hair to
create fullness and tight
curls. Tight curls can be
used at the nape of the
neck and to frame your

LARGE ROLLERS
Use on medium to long hair to create a looser

1. Place ends of hair in teeth of starter strip and
wind toward scalp. Roll hair firmly and secure
roller with a clip by crossing clip over roller.
2. The firmness of the curl is regulated by
several factors: heat-up time, diameter of roller,
and length of time roller is left in the hair. For
tight, firm curls, use medium rollers. For longer
lasting curls, the rollers should be allowed to
heat up longer and left in the hair for a longer
period of time before removing.

DE USO
Cómo operar el conjunto
de rulos calientes:
1. Ponga el aparato sobre una superficie llana
y segura. Con la cubierta del bolso cerrada,
conecte el cable a un tomacorriente estándar.
Este aparato está dotado de una clavija
polarizada. Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entra
por completo, inviértela. Si aún no entra
completamente, llame a un electricista
calificado. No intente vencer esta función de
seguridad.
2. Los rulos alcanzarán la temperatura óptima
para fijar el cabello en sólo minutos. Véase la
sección “COMO FIJAR EL CABELLO”.
3. Nunca deje el aparato desatendido mientras
está conectado. Desconéctelo después de
usarlo y permita que enfríe. Guárdelo en un
lugar seguro.
4. Su cabello debe estar limpio y seco, o
ligeramente húmedo. Nunca fije el cabello
mojado

1. Coloque las puntas del cabello en el centro
del rulo y enróllelo firmemente hacia el cuero
cabelludo. Sujete el rulo con un sujetador puesto
alrededor del mismo. No coloque el sujetador en
el ojo del rulo.
2. La textura de los rizos depende de la
temperatura del rulo, de su tamaño y del tiempo
que se deja en el cabello. Para lograr bucles
apretados y firmes, use rulos medianos, permita
que calienten durante más tiempo y déjelos en el
cabello durante más tiempo.
