TO TRIM YOUR MUSTACHE
1. For best results, start with a clean, slightly
damp mustache.
2. Comb through your mustache in the direc-
tion it grows.
3. Place the multi position comb over the trim-
mer blades and snap it into posi-
tion. It is a good idea to start with
the longest trim setting adjust-
ment. (You can always go back
and cut your mustache more
closely with a shorter setting.)
ALWAYS TRIM YOUR MUSTACHE
FROM THE TOP DOWN
After your mustache has been trimmed to the
desired length, remove the trimming attach-
ment and, using the blades only, define the out-
line of the bottom of your mustache.
USING THE SCRIBE BLADE
The scribe blade is used for fine detailing of your
facial hair. After trimming the hair to the desired
length, us the scribe blade to make fine line
details, the narrow blade width is perfect for
detailing under your lips or along the jaw line
1. Attach the scribe blade head
2. Move the ON/OFF switch to the on position
3. Press the tip of the scribe blade against your
skin and move the blade to create the desired
detail to your facial hair.
4. When finished detailing, move the ON/OFF
switch to the OFF position.
5. Use the supplied brush to clean away hairs.
6. Return the trimmer to the charging stand in
between uses

BLADE CARE
Cleaning Beard Trimmer
The head can be opened for cleaning purpose by
pressing the button at the bottom of head.
(Fig.2) The cover will be opened.
Shaver Head
To clean the shaver blade and foil:
1. Press both foil frame release buttons
(Fig.5). Then remove the shaver head (the cut-
ter is now in view). Be careful not to push on
the foil as it is delicate and can be easily dam-
aged.
2. Clean the cutter and the surrounding areas
with the brush provided (Fig.6). Rinse the
shaver foil frame under running water.
3. After rinsing, allow the foil frame to air-dry
before closing foil frame. Be sure to align both
arrows on the foil frame and on the head until
it clicks into place.
4. Hold the cutter firmly and guide it gently

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit
free of charge for 24 months from the date
of purchase if the appliance is defective in work-
manship or materials.

defective product to the service centre listed below

receipt and $5.50 for postage and handling. In the
absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period
shall be 24 months from the date of manufacture.

OUTLINING YOUR BEARD
1.It is always best to begin with a clean, slight-
ly damp beard.
2. After you have combed through your beard in
the direction it grows naturally, you will want
to outline the desired shape, beginning under
your jawline.
3. Attach the beard trimmer head. Begin defin-
ing your beard’s shape under your chin and
work upward on each side of your face
toward your ears. Then define the upper out-
line of your beard across your cheeks, past
your sideburns and toward your hairline.
NOW YOU’RE READY
TO TRIM YOUR BEARD
There are 2 multi position combs for cutting dif-
ferent lengths of hair. One for shorter lengths
and one for longer lengths.
1. To use the multi position comb, slide it over
the trimmer blades and snap down into posi-
tion. At first, until you become familiar with
the adjustments, use the longest comb and
trim setting. (You can
always go back and
make your beard a lit-
tle shorter.)
2. Begin trimming your
beard using smooth,
even strokes. Start with your sideburns and
work downward toward your chin. (Never
attempt to trim against the natural growth of
your beard, because the hair will be cut too
short.)
3. If you decide you want a closer
trim, you can now adjust the
multi position comb to a short-
er setting and go over your
beard again until you achieve
the desired length.

into the cutter mount. Press firmly until the
cutter snaps into place.
Caution: make sure you do not lose the little
spring under the cutter.
Because the trimmer blades are precision made
for a very special use, they should always be
handled with care. Each time you finish using the
trimmer, take the cleaning brush provided and
brush away any loose hair that has collected in
the blades. Then store the trimmer in its storage
stand until the next use.
To promote the long life of the appliance, use
your trimmer only for the purpose intended by
the manufacturer.
Each week drop a small amount of oil on the
beard trimmer blades and turn the trimmer on
for a few seconds. Wipe any excess oil off the
housing.

TAILLE DE LA MOUSTACHE
1. Une moustache propre et humide
donnera de meilleurs résultats.
2. Peignez la moustache dans le sens de la
pousse naturelle.
3. Placez le peigne multi-position sur la lame
de la tondeuse et enclenchez-le. Il est bon de
débuter avec le peigne réglé à la position
longue. (Vous pouvez toujours repasser sur
la moustache avec un réglage plus court.)
TONDEZ TOUJOURS LA
MOUSTACHE DE HAUT
EN BAS
Une fois la moustache taillée,
enlevez le peigne et, n’utilisant
que la lame, découpez la ligne du
bas de la moustache.
LAME À DÉCOUPER
Cette lame sert au découpage fin des poils faciaux.
Une fois les cheveux coupés, utilisez la lame à
découper pour tailler avec finesse autour des
lèvres ou le long de la mâchoire.
1. Posez la lame à découper sur la tondeuse.
2. Mettez la tondeuse en marche.
3. Pressez le bout de la lame à découper contre la
peau et deelacez-la pour créer le découpage voulu.
4. Une fois le travail terminé, mettez l’interrupteur
de la tondeuse en position d’arrêt.
5. Nettoyez la lame avec la brosse fournie.
6. Remettez la tondeuse sur le socle chargeur
après chaque utilisation.

ENTRETIEN DES LAMES
Nettoyage de la tête pour la barbe
Ouvrez la tête en appuyant sur le bouton dans le
bas de la tête (ill. 2). Le couvercle s’ouvre et
vous pouvez nettoyer la lame.
Nettoyage de la tête de rasoir
Pour nettoyer la lame et la grille du rasoir :
1. Appuyez sur la deux boutons de dégage-
ment de la grille (ill. 5). Enlevez la tête du
rasoir (la lame est exposée). Ne poussez pas la
grille car elle est délicate et s’endommage
facilement.
2. Nettoyez la lame et ses alentours avec la
petite brosse fournie (ill. 6). Rincez le cadre
sous l’eau courante.
3. Après le rinçage, laissez le cadre sécher à
l’air libre avant de le refermer. Alignez les
flèches sur la cadre et sur la tête puis
enclenchez le cadre en place.
4. Tenez la lame fermement et guidez-la lente-
ment sur la monture. Pressez fermement

DÉCOUPE DE LA BARBE
1. Il est toujours préférable de débuter avec
une barbe propre et humide.
2. Peignez la barbe dans le sens de la pousse
naturelle. Amorcez le découpe au niveau de
la mâchoire.
3. Posez la tête pour la barbe. Commencez par
définir la forme sous le menton et travaillez
vers le haut, de part et d’autre du visage en
direction des oreilles. Définissez la ligne
supérieure le long des joues, des favoris et
jusqu’à la ligne des cheveux.
TAILLE DE LA BARBE
Il y a 2 peignes à positions multiples pour la
taille de la barbe. Un pour les barbes courtes,
l’autre pour les barbes longues.
1. Pour utiliser le peigne, glissez-le sur la lame
de la tondeuse et enclenchez-le. Au début,
avant que vous soyez habitué aux ajuste-
ments, utilisez le
réglage et le peigne
longs. (Vous pouvez
toujours repasser sur
la barbe pour la tailler
plus courte.)
2. Coupez la barbe en mouvements doux et uni-
formes. Commencez aux
favoris et travaillez en direction
du menton. (Ne tentez jamais
de couper dans le sens con-
traire de la pousse naturelle
sinon les poils seront coupés
trop courts.
3. Si vous voulez une coupe de plus près, vous
pouvez ajuster le peigne en conséquence et
repasser sur la barbe jusqu’à l’atteinte de la
longueur voulue.

jusqu’à ce que la lame s’enclenche.
Mise en garde : Faites attention de ne pas per-
dre le petit ressort sous la lame.
Comme les lames de la tondeuse sont des arti-
cles de précision prévus pour un usage particuli-
er, elles doivent toujours être maniées avec soin.
Après chaque usage,
utilisez la brosse fournie
pour nettoyer les poils sur les lames. Rangez
ensuite la tondeuse sur le socle jusqu’à l’utili-
sation suivante. Pour assurer une longue
durée utile, n’utilisez la tondeuse que pour
l’usage prévu.
Chaque semaine, huilez légèrement les lames
de la tondeuse et laissez la fonctionner
quelques secondes. Essuyez l’excédent
d’huile sur le cadre.
