ADJUSTABLE TAPER LEVER
5 DETENT TAPER CONTROL
Just like levers on professional clippers, the
Conair taper lever is positioned at your thumb
so you can hold the clipper in your hand and
adjust the lever at the same time...while you’re
clipping. This taper lever eliminates the need in
some situations for an attachment comb,
because it lets you gradually adjust the close-
ness of the cut. For the closest cut and the
shortest hair, push taper lever up as far as it
will go to level #1. To increase cutting length,
slowly push lever down. If you push to the
lowest position level #5, it will leave hair about
the same length as the short attachment comb.
Because a different cutting edge is used in
each setting, the taper lever lengthens the life
of your blades. Packed-in hair can slow down
any clipper. To remove it, without removing
the blades. Take your cleaning brush and
brush the hair from the blades. If you do this
after every clipping, especially with heavy hair
cutting, the blades should remain free of cut
hair. If clipper stops cutting and this action
doesn’t help, try loosening the blades to
remove the hair.
If they’ve become dull, replace them. For new
blades, send check or money order for $6.50
(see order blank.) Price includes postage and
handling, but $10.00 minimum must be met.

NOTE:
Never pull on the clipper cord. Never twist or
wrap the cord around the clipper. To store
your clipper, lay it flat with the cord coiled up,
then place in cylinder.
If clipper stops cutting, check to see if there is a
clump of hair lodged between the blades. If that
is the problem, unplug the clipper and then
loosen the blades to remove the hair. If the clip-
per stops cutting but does not stop running,
you will need to check the blades.

unit free of charge for 60 months from the date
of purchase if the appliance is defective in work-
manship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the

receipt and $3.00 for postage and handling.
California residents need only provide proof of pur-
chase and should call 1-800-366-0937 for shipping
instructions. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the
warranty period shall be 60 months from the date of
manufacture.

PALANCA REGULADORA
AJUSTABLE CON 5 POSICIONES
Al igual que las cortadoras profesionales, su
cortadora tiene una palanca reguladora
ajustable al nivel de su dedo pulgar, para que
pueda controlar el tamaño del cortado a medi-
da que corta el cabello.
La palanca reguladora le permite cortar el
cabello más corto o más largo, sin que tenga
que usar un peine accesorio. Para un corte
más corto, empuje la palanca hacia arriba
hasta el ajuste No.1. Para un corte más largo,
empuje la palanca lentamente hacia abajo
hasta el ajuste No.5. El ajuste más corto dejará
el cabello tan corto como el peine accesorio
más pequeño.
Usar la palanca reguladora ajustable prolonga
la vida útil de las cuchillas, puesto que nunca
usan el mismo ángulo para cortar.
Su cortadora puede perder velocidad si
recortes de cabello están trabados en las
cuchillas. Use el cepillo de limpieza después de
cada uso para limpiar las cuchillas sin
removerlas, luego lubrique las cuchillas. Hacer
esto después de cada uso, especialmente
cuando se corta mucho cabello, mantendrá las
cuchillas en condición óptima. Cambie las

cortar el pelo con exactitud profesional
cuando se tienen las herramientas ade-
cuadas.
Conair también fabrica una variedad de acce-
sorios para cortar el cabello. Si su conjunto
para recorte no los incluye, los puede
ordenar por separado.
Peines para recortar el cabello alrededor de
la oreja izquierda y derecha brindan un corte
de precisión sin esfuerzo. Los clips
sostienen el cabello mientras lo está seccio-
nando. El peine de modelar permite contorn-
ear o cortar el cabello en ángulo. La capa de
peluquero asegura un corte confortable y
limpio y el cómodo bolso de almacenamien-
