Before use
Inserting or changing the Braun energy cell
The energy supply must be switched off (switch C2 on position
«0»). Press the release buttons (H) and pull the end cap (I) off.
Insert a Braun energy cell into the handle as shown in the
illustration (arrows on energy cell pointed upwards). Push the
handle with the energy cell back onto the appliance until it snaps
into place.
Only use Braun energy cells. These are available from the shop
where this appliance was purchased, as well as from authorised
Braun Service Agents. The energy cells can be taken out or
changed at any time, even if they are only partly filled.
Switching on
• Press down the lock button (C1) on top of the energy supply
switch (C2) and shift the switch from 0= off to 1= on.
• Shift the start switch (D) down to «start» until you clearly hear
a click.
• The starting indicator (F) lights up to show that the appliance
starts heating up. The intensity of the light might change
during operation because the appliance automatically
regulates the temperature.
• After approx. 3 to 4 minutes, the ready indicator (E) turns dark.
• Only then the appliance is heated up to the optimum styling
temperature and is ready for steaming & straightening.
Filling the water tank
Remove the complete steam
dispenser with the water tank
(A).
Open the lid (B) of the water tank
and fill with water. Close the lid
and slide the steam dispenser
back onto the appliance.
