Question About Vicks Thermometer V965G
I changed the battery and now the thermometer won'...

I changed the battery and now the thermometer won't work. Before, I would press the on button and after a few seconds a series of numbers would appear followed by the 'L' symbol which meant it was ready for use. Now the numbers appear but I can't get the 'L' symbol which means I can't use the thermometer.
