3 I tried everything, then resorted to the following: remove six screws holding the back panel on. Remove back panel carefully, and you will see the beeper cemented to the back panel connected to the circuit board with a red and black wire. Snip one, wrap the end with electrical tape, reassemble, and voila! No more beeping. Sounds drastic, but i tried many suggested solutions and finally resorted to disabling the beeper
