The weight display keeps blicking varying weights ...

The weight display keeps blicking varying weights (by a few ounces) so that I don't know exactly which one is correct. I've tried everything in the owners manual but it still doing it. I have two weight display monitors, and both seem to be doing the same thing. What should I do to correct?
