0 when you remove the head on the right side of the power modual where the head fits is a small metal peg depress it to reset the timer, also if you undo the two small Phillips screws on either side of the bottom of the head you can disassemble it and and clean it and keep a bit more out of the land fill for a while. I'm basically a blade shaver with a light beard but this unit does a great job for touch-ups and when just don't feel like lathering up.
