My 9 month old HS8460 stops frequently during shav...

My 9 month old HS8460 stops frequently during shaving. It is thoroughly cleaned after each use and the battery charged in the stand every day. When my previous similar shaver started to do this at two years of age I bought a new one, but I do not think this should should be necessary after 9 months. Any suggestions please.
