I need to know if the Norelco 5842 XL is a dual voltage charger? Will it take 220volts and 110volts as well or is it strictly a 110volt charger? Thanks for your help... John Wootten email jwwpapa@yahoo.com

0 There is no charger for it. It has batteries inside that are charged by plugging it into the wall outlet. Now I need to know if I can plug it into a 220volt wall outlet as well as a 110volt wall outlet. I have moved from the USA to the Philippines and the service here is all 220volt. I don't want to damage the shaver by plugging it into the 220volt outlet if it wont take it. So again can I plug this shaver into a 220volt outlet or will it take only 110volts? Thank you, John Wootten
