How do I change it back to farenheit from celcius?

5 Turn off the unit, then press and hold the Activation Button (the trigger on the side where the thermometer is) until the temperature display appears. Press and release the Activation Button to switch for F. Once you have selected F wait three seconds until the thermometer shows a ready display.
