The GentleTemp OMRON MC-509 is NOT the same as the MC-509C but any search for the proper manual always results in the MC-509N manual. They are NOT THE SAME! My MC-509 always gives me "AL" on the display which is not mentioned in the MC-509N manual. Can anyone help me get some use out of this product instead of frustration?
