I have read directions on the cuff and did everything me and my husband correct first changed batteries lined the cuff right above crease in elbow with the cord lined up with the little finger..the cuff was tight where two fingers could slip under on both ends..press the button on waited untillthe cuff tightened and it did for a few seconds and then went to ERRO
