Our Thinner scale is many years old. When I tap it, three 8's appear for a second or two before three 0's appear. My wife says this means that the scale needs a new battery. I use the scale every day and seem to remember the three 8's always appearing before the 0's appear. Is this normal? Thank you. Dave Price (daprice7@comcast.net)
