Question About Conair Scale WW89W

My scale stoped working (doesn't turn on) 2 days ago. I tried changing the battery, but still not working. I did not drop it nor it got wet. And it isn't too old (I've had it for avout 1 year). Any idea of what I can do to solve the problem?
