Have a thermoscan type 6013 and the temp reads in ...

Have a thermoscan type 6013 and the temp reads in the lower to mid 90's. I have tried 2 new sets of batteries and same thing happens. The icons in the display area look to be correct but the temp reads about 94' every time.
