pump on cleaning/charging station is not working. ...

pump on cleaning/charging station is not working. no lights come on for the cleaning options. only the charging lights come on. New cleaning solution cartridge has been installed and the "full" light comes on. Mash down button and lock the shaver into cleaning station, but nothing happens. No cleaning lights and no sound of pump running.
