I have the Braun shaver 130s and it won't charge, ...

I have the Braun shaver 130s and it won't charge, the light doesn't even come on to indicate it's connected to a power source, the only time I can turn it on is when it's plugged in but he light doesn't come on? It's brand new aswell, not even been used yet.
