CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS – EACH USE
Model NE-U22V
MicroAir Vibrating Mesh Nebulizer

FAILURE TO PROPERLY CLEAN AND DISINFECT THE MICROAIR
COMPONENTS WILL RESULT IN THE RISK OF BACTERIAL GROWTH,
ILLNESS, AND SERIOUS INJURY FROM CONTAMINATION,
COMPROMISED MEDICATION DELIVERY, AND POSSIBLE DAMAGE
TO THE DEVICE.

Do • NOT operate the device if not properly assembled.
Do • NOT operate the device if not working correctly.
Do • NOT rinse or immerse the Main Unit in any liquid.
Do • NOT wash or rinse any of the parts under the strong running water.
Do • NOT touch the mesh with your hand or any other object.
Following the cleaning instructions after each use will prevent any remaining
medication in the bottle from drying, adhering to the mesh cap, and resulting in
the device not nebulizing effectively.
Wash the Medication Bottle, Mesh Cap, Mask, Mouthpiece, and Mask
Adapter after each use.
It is important to clean your unit using distilled water after each use.
Remove the Mouthpiece or Mask and the Mask Adapter from the Main Unit.1.
Remove the Medication Bottle from the Main Unit.2.
Open the Medication Bottle and discard any remaining medication.3.
Attach the Medication Bottle to the Main Unit. Open the Mesh Cap.4.
Pour a small amount of distilled water into the Medication Bottle and close 5.
the Mesh Cap.
Turn on the device to nebulize the distilled water for 1 to 2 minutes to remove 6.
residual medication from the mesh holes.
Turn off the device and remove the Medication Bottle from the Main Unit.7.
Remove the Mesh Cap from the Medication Bottle and discard any remaining 8.
distilled water from the Medication Bottle.
Rinse the Medication Bottle, Mesh Cap, Mask, Mouthpiece, and Mask Adapter with 9.

Gently wipe off excess water with a soft clean cloth or allow the parts to air dry in 10.
