10. Never drop or insert any object into any opening
or hose.
11. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol
(spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
12. This straightener is hot when in use. Do not
let heated surfaces touch eyes or skin.
13. Do not place the heated straightener
directly on any surface or on the appliance
power cord while it is hot or plugged in.
14. Before plugging in, read the information
about dual voltage contained in the instruction
section of this manual.
15. Do not attempt to touch the housing of your
appliance near the straightening plates as it is
hot when in use.
16. Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance.
Use the handles or knobs.
17. Do not use with a voltage converter.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This straightening iron is intended for house-
hold use. This unit is designed to operate at
120–240 volts AC. Use on Alternating Current
(50/60 hertz) only.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
DUAL VOLTAGE
This straightening iron will automatically adjust
to the proper voltage. Use an adapter plug with
correct configuration, prior to use in outlet.
STRAIGHTENING BASICS
Plug the straightening iron cord into any
household outlet 120V–240V. Red LED light will
indicate power is on. The iron will heat up very
quickly. Never leave your straightening iron on
and unattended.
WARNING: The straightening iron’s ceramic-
coated plates will get very hot within a few
seconds and should not be placed in contact
with the skin after the straightening iron has
been turned on.
Start with a hair section that is 1 in. wide and no
more than ½ in. thick. Open the iron and place a
hair section between the two hot plates, close to
the scalp. Close plates over hair by firmly
squeezing the handles together. While maintain-
ing the tension, slowly pull the unit down along
the hair section toward the ends. At the end of
hair section, release the pressure on the handle
and allow the hair to slide out. Repeat process on
additional sections of hair until you achieve the
hair style you desire. It may be necessary to
repeat process on certain areas, depending on
the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning to
use this straightening iron. After using the iron
several times, you will learn the ideal way to
straighten and style your hair easily.

DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solamente. Este aparato ha
sido diseñado para funcionar con corriente de
120/240V CA. Utilícelo solamente con corriente
alterna (50/60 Hz).
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que
otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá
enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de
corriente polarizada. Si no entrara en la toma de
corriente, inviértela. Si aún no entrara completa-
mente, comuníquese con un electricista. No
intente ir en contra de esta función de seguridad.
DOBLE VOLTAJE
Este aparato es bitensión. Se adaptará
automáticamente al voltaje adecuado. Puede que
sea necesario emplear un adaptador de enchufe
(no se incluye) para utilizarlo fuera de los Estados
Unidos.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL ALISADO
Enchufe el aparato en una toma de corriente de
120/240V. El indicador luminoso rojo se
encenderá. El aparato calentará muy rápidam-
ente. Nunca deje el aparato desatendido después
de encenderlo.
ADVERTENCIA: Las placas se volverán
extremadamente calientes en segundos. Evite
todo contacto con la piel después de encender
el aparato.
Divida el cabello en secciones de 2 pulgadas de
ancho por ½ pulgada o menos de espesor. Abra
las placas y coloque una sección de cabello entre
ellas, cerca del cuero cabelludo. Cierre las
placas. Baje la plancha lentamente hasta las
puntas, manteniendo las placas bien cerradas.
Afloje el cabello tras llegar a las puntas. Repita el
proceso con cada sección de cabello. Según la
textura del cabello, puede que sea necesario
repetir el proceso varias veces en cada sección.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al principio.
Con práctica, encontrará la manera perfecta para
alisar su cabello fácil y rápidamente.
REVESTIMIENTO DE CERÁMICA
Las placas de su nueva plancha alisadora están
cubiertas de una capa de cerámica increíble-
mente suave, lo último en tecnología cerámica.
La cerámica distribuye el calor uniformemente y
deja el cabello sedoso, brillante y resplandeciente
de salud. Notará que el cabello se desliza
fácilmente entre las placas y que éstas son muy
fáciles de limpiar después de cada uso. La
