DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solamente. Úselo sola-
mente con Corriente Alterna (60 Hz) de 120
voltios (120V AC).
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entrara
en la toma de corriente, inviértela. Si aún no
entrara completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL ALISADO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Enchufe
el cable en una toma de corriente. Encienda
el aparato. El indicador luminoso se encend-
erá.
Para apagar el aparato, oprima el botón de
apagado. El indicador luminoso se apagará.
Nunca deje el aparato desatendido después
de encenderlo. Para su seguridad, el aparato
se apagará automáticamente después de 60
minutos.
ADVERTENCIA: Las placas se volverán
extremadamente calientes en segundos.
Evite todo contacto con la piel después de
encender el aparato.
PLACAS CON REVESTIMIENTO DE
CERÁMICA Y TURMALINA
Las placas de su nueva plancha alisadora
son extra-largas, para permitirle alisar su
cabello más rápidamente. También son el
resultado de una tecnología de punta que

cas tienen un revestimiento de cerámica y
turmalina muy suave y fácil de limpiar, para

Este aparato está dotado de una potente
resistencia de cerámica que logra un
calentamiento muy rápido y mantiene la
temperatura constante durante el uso.
Esto permite que alcance la temperatura
seleccionada muy rápidamente.
Cuenta con 5 opciones de temperatura para
permitirle escoger la temperatura perfecta
para su tipo de cabello, desde el más fino
hasta el más grueso, y siempre obtener los
resultados deseados, sin lastimar el cabello.
Y esto no es todo... Su aparato también está
dotado de un sistema de conservación del
calor, igual que las herramientas profesion-
ales creadas por los ingenieros de Conair.
A diferencia de otras herramientas cuya
temperatura baja durante el uso, este
sistema mantiene la temperatura constante,
sin pérdida de calor. Cada sección de
cabello está peinada usando la misma tem-
peratura, lo que permite obtener resultados
uniformes y peinados perfectos.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Este aparato ofrece 5 opciones de tempera-
tura, para todo tipo de cabello, y calienta
muy rápidamente. Si su cabello es fino,
le recomendamos que utilice un nivel de
temperatura bajo. Si su cabello es espeso,
grueso, ondulado o resistente, le recomenda-
mos que utilice un nivel de temperatura alto.
¡Personalice la temperatura, según su tipo de
cabello!
Divida el cabello en secciones de 1 pulgada
de ancho por ½ pulgada o menos de espesor.
Coloque el aparato cerca del cuero cabel-
ludo. Abra las placas y ponga una sección
de cabello entre ellas. Cierre las placas. Baje
la plancha lentamente hasta las puntas,
manteniendo las placas bien cerradas. Para
lograr resultados óptimos, aplique una loción
fijadora ligera sobre el cabello antes de pei-
narlo. Afloje el cabello tras llegar a las pun-
tas. Repita el proceso con cada sección de
cabello. Según la textura del cabello, puede
que sea necesario repetir el proceso varias
veces en cada sección.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la manera
perfecta para alisar su cabello fácil y rápida-
mente.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This straightening iron is intended for house-
hold use. Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz)
only. This unit is designed to be operated at
120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other.) As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
TO STRAIGHTEN HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the straightening iron. Plug the
iron into an electrical outlet. Turn on unit. The
Power setting will become illuminated.
To turn off, press On/Off button (light will go
off). Never leave your straightening iron on
and unattended. However, should you fail to
turn the unit off, it will shut itself off auto-
matically within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The straightening iron's
tourmaline-ceramic coated plates will get
very hot within a few seconds and should
not be placed in contact with the skin after
the straightening iron has been turned on.
GETTING STARTED
The iron’s unique 5 ultra-high heat temperature
settings and Instant Heat technology provide
styling versatility for all hair types. If you have
fine hair, a low temperature will provide the
best results. If you have thick, wavy or hard-to-
straighten hair, keep the heat setting on high.
You can vary the iron’s temperature according to
your particular need!
STYLING WITH “FLOATING” EASY-GLIDE
TOURMALINE-CERAMIC COATED PLATES
The plates of your new straightening iron
offer extra length for faster styling and
the newest technology for better results.
Surfaces are tourmaline-ceramic coated for
ultra-smooth glide and extra-easy cleanup
– any residue from styling products wipes
right off! The combination of ceramic and
tourmaline evenly distributes heat to protect
hair from damaging hot spots. Clouds of
ions, naturally emitted when tourmaline is
heated, eliminate flyaways and frizzies to

high heat temperature settings. There is
a temperature range that’s gentle and
safe for every type of hair, from the finest
to the curliest and most resistant, and
helps you create the look you want. And
that’s not all. Conair’s professional salon
standards of engineering provide you with
a uniform and improved heat recovery
system that maintains the iron at constant
temperatures. There is a constant surge of
power to ensure that heat is continuously

results, unlike other units, which lose heat
during use. This provides consistent styling

Start with a hair section that is 1 in. wide and
no more than
1
⁄2 in. thick. Open the iron and
place the hair section between the two hot
plates, close to the scalp. Trap hair between
the plates by firmly squeezing the handles
together. While maintaining the tension, slowly
pull the unit down along the hair section
toward the ends of hair. For best results, use
a light styling product before blow-drying hair.
At the end of hair section, release the pressure
on the handle and allow the hair section to
slide out. Repeat process on additional sec-
tions of hair until you achieve the hair style
you desire. It may be necessary to repeat
process on certain areas, depending on the
texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this straightening iron. After using the
iron several times, you will learn the ideal
way to straighten and style your hair.
