appliance near the barrel, as it is hot when

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This curling iron is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This
unit is designed to be operated at 120AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
When putting on the table, the unit should be in
correct position. Please press the "back to center"
button and use the stand provided.
TO CURL HAIR
Hair should be clean, completely dry and combed
before you use the curling iron. Plug the iron into an
electrical outlet. Turn on the switch. The red LED
will blink until it reaches desired temperature
setting and becomes solid. Then, press the "back
to center" button and use the stand provided. Allow
unit to heat up for 30 seconds.
WARNING: The curling iron’s tourmaline
ceramic-coated barrel will get very hot within
a few seconds and should not be placed in
contact with the skin after the curling iron has
been turned on.
To prevent hair entanglement, do not start
curling from the roots of the hair. Make sure to
start curling from the ends and work your way
up to the roots.
GETTING STARTED
The iron’s two unique high-heat temperature
settings and Instant Heat technology provide
styling versatility for all hair types. If you have
fine hair, the lower temperature will provide the
best results. If you have thick, wavy or hard-to-
curl hair, keep the heat setting on high. You can
vary the iron’s temperature according to your
particular need!
Temperature Setting Guide
The iron’s unique rotating clamp makes creating
perfect curls effortless. Start with a section of
dry hair about half an inch wide. Press the
“back to center” button to bring the clamp to
center. Open the clamp and slide iron under the
hair section ends, then close. To create curls on
the right side of head, press "right rotation
button" on right side of iron. For curls on the
left side, press the "left rotation button" on the
left. Continue holding the rotation button down
until the entire section of hair is wrapped
around the barrel. Release the rotation button
and hold iron in place for 10 seconds to set the
curl, then release the clamp.
NOTE: If the hair is caught or jammed during
use, simply release the rotation button and
manually rotate the iron in the opposite
direction to release hair. Then redo the curl.
Before starting on your next curl, press the
"back to center" button again to bring the
clamp back to center. Repeat the process
described above to do an entire head of curls or
just a few accent curls.
- For looser, natural looking curls, work with
wider sections of hair.
- For a little sexier look, stop the rotation a few
inches from the scalp.

DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo
solamente con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este
aparato ha sido diseñado para funcionar con
corriente de 120V CA.
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que
otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá
enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de
corriente polarizada. Si no entrara en la toma de
corriente, inviértela. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
Si debe depositar el aparato, asegúrese de que
esté en la posición debida. Oprima el botón "C"
y utilice el soporte proveído.
PARA RIZAR EL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio, completamente
seco y desenredado. Enchufe el cable en una
toma de corriente. Encienda el aparato. El
indicador luminoso rojo parpadeará hasta que la
unidad alcance la temperatura seleccionada.
Después, permanecerá encendido. Ponga el
aparato sobre el soporte, después de haber
oprimido el botón "C". Permita que el aparato
caliente durante 30 segundos.
ADVERTENCIA: El tubo se volverá
extremadamente caliente en segundos.
Evite todo contacto con la piel después de
encender el aparato.
Para evitar que el cabello se enrede, no
empiece a rizarlo desde la raíz. Agarre el
cabello por las puntas y enróllelo hacia la raíz.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Este aparato ofrece dos opciones de temperatura
alta, para todo tipo de cabello, y calienta muy
rápidamente. Si su cabello es fino, le
recomendamos que utilice un nivel de
temperatura bajo. Si su cabello es espeso,
grueso, ondulado o resistente, le recomendamos
que utilice un nivel de temperatura alto.
¡Personalice la temperatura, según su tipo de
cabello!
Guía de temperatura
La pinza rotatoria única de la tenaza le permitirá
crear rizos perfectos sin esfuerzo. Separe una
sección de cabello de 1.5 cm. Oprima el botón
"C" para hacer regresar la pinza al centro del
tubo. Abra la pinza, coloque la tenaza debajo de
la sección de cabello y cierre la pinza. Para rizar
el cabello al lado derecho de la cabeza, oprima el
botón "R". Para rizar el cabello al lado izquierdo
de la cabeza, oprima el botón "L". Siga
oprimiendo el botón hasta haber enrollado el
cabello alrededor del tubo. Afloje el botón y
mantenga la tenaza sin mover durante 10
segundos para marcar el rizo. Después, abra la
pinza.
NOTA: Si el cabello se enreda al enrollarse,
simplemente afloje el botón y gire la tenaza
manualmente en la dirección opuesta para
liberar el cabello. Después, vuelva a rizar el
cabello.
Antes de rizar la sección siguiente, oprima el
botón "C" para hacer regresar la pinza al centro
del tubo. Repita estos pasos para rizar todo el
cabello o simplemente hacer resaltar unas
secciones.
- Para crear rizos suaves y naturales, rice
secciones más gruesas.
- Para conseguir un estilo un poco más sexy,
detenga la rotación a unos 5–10 cm del cuero
cabelludo.
REVESTIMIENTO DE CERÁMICA/TURMALINA
El tubo de su nueva tenaza está cubierto con una
capa de cerámica/turmalina increíblemente
suave, el resultado de una tecnología de punta.
Notará que el cabello se desliza fácilmente sobre
el tubo y que es muy fácil limpiar el aparato
después de cada uso. El revestimiento de
cerámica/turmalina también ayuda a controlar la
estática y el frizz.
Distribuye el calor uniformemente, para crear
peinados sedosos y brillantes, igual que en el
salón. Además, no retiene el cabello después de
rizarlo.
Es un placer trabajar con esta nueva tecnología,
pues facilita el peinado y logra resultados
óptimos.
Nunca deje el aparato desatendido después de
encenderlo. Para su seguridad, el aparato se
apagará automáticamente después de 60
minutos.
