MeterCalibration



z Itisstronglyrecommendedthatthefollowingstepsshouldonlyperformbyprofessional

people.

z Pleasewearsafetygogglesandglovesbeforeperformingthefollowingprocedures.

z Thefollowingproceduresshouldonlybeperformedwhenthemeterreadingistestedand

confirmedoutofaccuracy.



1.Test

abatterybyDVOMandrecordthevoltage.Thisvoltagewillbeconsideredasthestandard

voltageinthefollowingadjustment.Soitisimportanttomakesurethevoltageiscorrect.



2DisassembletheATD5496youcanfindayellowcalibrationscrewonbackofPCBboard(Fig...).

The

adjustmentcanbemadebyturningthiscalibrationscrew.

 



2.1ConnectthebatterytoATD5496,andatthemeantime,turnthecalibrationscrewuntilneedle

pointstothestandardvoltage.(i.e.ifstandardvoltageis12.4V,adjusttheneedleto12.4V)



2.2 Disconnectbattery andthen re‐connect battery to make sure that the readout is same as

standardvoltage.Ifnot,needrepeatstep2.1.Ifyes,thecalibrationisfinished.
